I began selling Oconee lakefront property in the early 80’s when the lake was new.  At that time we sold developer’s lots in some of the most scenic areas of the lake (near the dam).  Most were priced under $25,000!  I worked with buyers and showed  properties initially by boat, as road access was difficult. In this way buyers could appreciate the beauty of the lake while comparing available properties. Later I sold golf and lake properties during the development of the first golf community on the lake, which was Port Armor.  Following this,  I worked with buyers interested in property in the Harbor Club Golf Community during the development phase there. 

  Since 1994, when I started Bob Ride Realty, I have been selling lots, homes, and acreage on and around the lake, both in and out of the golf communities.  I know the lake and have worked with hundreds of buyers over the years.  I look forward to using my experience to help you find your Lake Oconee Dream!

  Laura and I live on the lake in a home we bought in 1988, on a great lot in a wonderful community (Sandy Creek).  We love our lifestyle and greatly enjoy living among many friends, customers and clients.  We also own investment property in Harbor Club and are original members of this warm and welcoming golf community.
